Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Columbus, Ohio. As a Paralegal, your responsibilities will include providing professional and legal support, coordinating the collection of documents, and researching leases and contracts. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support, facilitating the issuance of default notices, and managing the landlord signature process for legal documents.Responsibilities Provide professional and legal support to attorneys Coordinate the collection of documents and information related to litigation and bankruptcy dockets Research leases, contracts, and other legal documents Provide administrative support, including scheduling and organizing meetings and events Facilitate the issuance and mailing of default notices to tenants and track completion of noted cure periods Manage the landlord signature process for legal documents, including notarization of documents Draft legal documents, including notices of default, promissory notes, and lease terminations Prepare legal documents for execution by the tenant and landlord Process executed documents using SalesForce, OnBase, SharePoint, DocuSign, and other software programs Communicate with tenants on legal requestsSkills Commercial Litigation Commercial Contracts Requirements Possess a bachelor's degree Must have a paralegal certification Proven experience as a paralegal in the real estate industry is required Strong knowledge of commercial litigation and commercial contracts Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in the use of legal research software and other related software Ability to work with a team and independently as required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Must be authorized to work in the specified location Professionalism and ethical behavior is a must.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
