Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring someone who can efficiently handle accounting software systems and payroll taxes.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigation of IRS tax notices Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate payroll records Engage with local authorities across different locations for investigation purposes Use ADP Workforce Now and other similar platforms for financial services Regularly monitor and update payroll taxes and tax IDs Use Microsoft Excel for data organization and presentation Coordinate with internal teams for smooth payroll processes Proactively resolve any potential confusion regarding company restructuring Ensure compliance with local payroll tax regulations Facilitate communication with the IRS to confirm tax obligations.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce systems Proficiency in About Time software Understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Auditing skills Knowledge of Benefit Functions Understanding of Local Payroll Tax Experience in Payroll Tax Reporting Familiarity with Payroll Tax Returns and Payroll Taxes Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
