Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in West Chester, OH. The role entails managing payroll processes and maintaining employee records relevant to payroll in a structured and timely manner.Responsibilities: Assemble and complete biweekly and monthly payrolls for multiple entities. Take charge of maintaining all relevant employee records pertaining to payroll. Handle the onboarding process for new associates and complete separations. Monitor and ensure compliance with garnishments and benefits. Handle payroll and benefit-related queries clearly and professionally. Assist with special projects as directed by Human Resources and CFO. Execute additional duties as assigned. Utilize HR Payroll System and Accounting Functions to perform tasks. Handle payroll for 101-500 employees. Manage payroll garnishments and Multistate Payroll.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Payroll Clerk role or similar Proficiency in Accounting Functions Experience with HR Payroll Systems Capable of handling payroll for 101 to 500 employees Familiarity with Payroll Garnishments Experience with Multistate Payroll Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
