Requisition Number: 99884Job DescriptionThe Product Development (Manager) of Hygiene is responsible for a portion of the product line management of our $400M+ hygiene offering. This includes the development and launch of new products and service offerings within our Facility Services business. The Manager is Cintas’ leader in working with our suppliers to develop products and services that will further our growth and differentiation. The Manager will work closely with our Sales and Operations group to define, develop and launch new products and services. The Manager will have frequent interactions with Upper Management in this high-visibility role.Provide overall leadership for Hygiene offerings
Drive program consistency and compliance through our Operations teams through ongoing communications, i.e. face-to-face meetings, emails, phone calls
Drive margin growth through product line management to maximize the value curve of the product line
Conceive and evaluate new, differentiated products and services to provide a meaningful and unique product line that aligns with the Strategic Plan
Organize and lead field tests and larger market tests to identify successful products for launch
Execute solid testing methodology including planning, documenting learnings, executing and analyzing to advance project in the development process
Analyze data to support business decisions for the advancement of projects in early phases of development as well as opportunities in later phases of development
Interact with customers for technical support, interviews and insight mining
Promote plans internally, and gain organization agreement and commitment
Develop sustainable pricing, selling and service models that integrate products and services into current operations
Work with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate favorable and proprietary supply agreements
Work with Marketing and Sales Training to develop launch plans including training, collateral and internal and external awareness campaigns
Identify and coordinate product discontinuations to maintain a refreshed offering
Create and manage product specifications
Work with vendors to leverage as technical resources and support for active projects
Skills/QualificationsRequired
Bachelor
Possess 3 to 5 years of related business experience
Office Proficient
Travel minimum 25%
Preferred
Experience training field sales on new products and tools
Experience interacting as a technical expert with customers
Experience in vendor negotiations
Experience in Facility Services desired
Possess excellent public speaking skills
