Learn more at www.averydennison.com.Job DescriptionAs Product Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the execution of the market-focused product strategy for fast-growing product lines - RFID. A successful candidate will provide vision and direction to the organization and drive action and execution to achieve the strategic and P&L goals for this product portfolio. We are a business fueled by collaboration and teamwork, and passionate about growth, sustainability, and diversity. The Product Manager does not have “direct selling” responsibility.Specifically, the selected candidate for the role will manage their portfolio (inlay and Media) through the following:

Define a market focused product strategy for their specific market segment with relevant stakeholders

Own the segment portfolio

Develop and gain alignment on the portfolio roadmap for segment

Develop plans to replace, rejuvenate, and obsolete RFID products

Manage product price/cost

Refine portfolio strategy based on volume and margin analysis, product life cycle analysis

Support commercial GTM strategy

Own positioning and Value Proposition for products in portfolio to support GTM

Work closely with commercial teams and customers to define market requirements (CTQs) for products

Screen and develop product opportunities based on commercial strategy

Align product launch timing with market needs

Provide priority for development work

Collaborate with product development team to have roadmaps translated to product release plans

Transfer new product developments by interacting with the product development teams and operations in order to deliver the end-to-end solution to the markets

Work with cross-functional teams (technical, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, IT, innovation, and marketing communication) involved in the product development process

This role will evolve over time to include P&L for segment products

Qualifications

3-7 years of experience in a similar position

Educational background in Business. A combination of business and a scientific degrees will be of advantage

Experience in RFID industry and technical solutions would be a strong advantage

Strong business acumen, customer focus, problem-solving and project management skills

Qualitative and quantitative problem solving techniques including effective use of statistics

Assertive, persistent and flexible to work in a matrixed, fast paced organization

Ability to influence people and steer cross-functional teams

Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English

Self-starter, able to initiate and drive complex projects to conclusion respecting the deadlines
