Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 8 MonthsWork with Agency project managers to facilitate the development of project scope definitions. • Maintain project level budgets, set standards for project level budget data reporting, and create reports of projects level budgets. These reports will be produced for the executive level management as well as detailed level reports on an as needed basis.• Create project level risk and issue management plans. The candidate will coordinate and produce project level resource reports.• Create and maintain a business plan and return on investment data for projects.• Create project presentations and progress reports on a monthly basis.• Organize, manage and direct project team tasks and assure the proper application of PMO standards, tools and methodologies in project work.• Develop the project plan.• Supervise and manage the project Stakeholders, the project team and project communications.• Manage project risks, issues and changes.• Oversee and manage the project schedule and project budget.• Manage conflicts and ensure successful project delivery.• Familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMI PMBOK, PRINCE2, agile and MSP), ideally across a range of projects.• Ability to lead and motivate others; demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types• Ability to develop strong client and working relationships with the team• Experience working with government agencies is a plus• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint• Microsoft Excel• Visio• Must have strong communication skills; both written and spoken• Must have ability to work in a team environment• 8 years’ Project/Program Management experience • 4 years’ experience with full lifecycle implementation projects from requirements definition through implementation• 3 years’ experience hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office products including Project and Visio• 3 years’ experience leading Agile projects

• Current PMP certification• Transition to cloud Dynamics AXExtensive travel which may include overnight stay; must provide own transportation if state vehicle is unavailable; overtime may be required including weekends &/or holidays.• Successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; • 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects; 12 mos. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation).• Or 4 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal);• 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
