Our Akron based client is seeking a Program Manager/Product Owner to help build out a new customer-facing marketing engine. This hybrid role will be involved at the inception of this strategic initiative and will work with business stakeholders, developers, business analysts and vendor partners to craft the best solution possible. Program ManagerOur client is a wholesale distributor that is leveraging modern technologies to create competitive differentiation. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operational systems in support of all organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Program Manager is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. Primary Job Responsibilities• Oversees a portfolio of related projects & software solutions that support ecommerce and business operations• Facilitates metrics (cost, budget, dashboard) and portfolio governance• Determines program parameters, design approach/strategy, and establishes program plan• Analyzes, develops, and writes functional specifications for related program application systems and system to system integrations• Meets with decision makers, systems owners, external sources, and end users to define business, financial, operational, and systems goals, and to identify and resolve systems issues• Collaborates with project managers, business analysts, developers and leadership to evolve Agile processes for predictable and rapid software and system integration delivery• Manages and coordinates the delivery of multiple projects including work plan, schedule, risk / issues, and budget using project management tools and techniques• Leads design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow• Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems• Conducts research on software and hardware products for the development of tactical and strategic system solutions for existing system performance issues as well as applications for new systems• Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers• Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems and other post-implementation support• Collaborates with marketing team to implement technology to support business objectivesRequired Experience and Skills• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products• Strong project management experience with large and complex projects• Understanding of and experience with Agile software development, QA methodologies, tools, and processes• Ability to quickly adapt or evolve in response to changing circumstances• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills• Logical and efficient• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPreferred Experience and Skills• Has managed full lifecycle analysis in multiple projects in the distribution and/or manufacturing industries• 5+ years of professional business analysis experience • Lean-Six Sigma and DevOps experience a plusAbout EIS:Since 1997, Exodus Integrity Services, Inc.
