Additionally, we offer expertise in the Cybersecurity space.Vernovis is currently partnering with a large Real Estate company to place a Project Accountant. The Project Accountant is accountable for generating accurate project financial reports, monitoring the project financials; including the identification of unusual financial activities to projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued, and payments collected. This position notifies Managers of potential budget problems and discrepancies in project reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating and monitoring project financial reports for accuracy
  • Identifying unusual financial activities to projects
  • Investigating variances
  • Complete client required reporting and forecasting
  • Ensuring that project billings are issued and payments are collected
  • Company expense report review and corrections
  • Setting up vendors in an accounting system
  • Notifies managers of potential budget problems and discrepancies in project reporting

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree AND 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks across a variety of projects
  • Must be proficient with MS Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience within Vantagepoint, Advantage, Sema 4, Wind2, Timberline, BST, Great Plains, MAS 90 or Axium a PLUS
