This contract role as a Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH is responsible for managing all aspects of planning and delivering diverse simple to medium complexity IT projects.
Responsibilities: Tracks the execution of project deliverables on a daily basis and participates in requirements gathering Establishes scope of work based on client inputs and business needs and is responsible for estimating budget and effort of the project Independently leads mid-sized projects and ensures stakeholder buy-in Establishes and maintains a project communication plan Defines phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules resources, evaluates risks and highlights dependencies Collects and analyses project metrics. Should be able to navigate and step up in ambiguous situations and manage stakeholder expectations Works with Architects, Designers, Senior Testers and Business Analysts at a technological and functional level, to ensure that the solution meets business needs Must have prior experience of working in a leadership role and has managed at least 1 or 2 mid-sized projects (11-30 FTE projects) Has experience working across projects involving multiple process interfaces, multiple functions/sites, and overall medium to high risk Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP top 10 concepts Education Requirements: Bachelors B.E./ B.Tech / BCA; Masters M.Tech / MCA; Computer Science specialization highly desirable; MBA Preferred - Tier 1/2/3 business school Certifications preferred : PMP / Prince 2Technical Skills: Agile Methodology Experience in Multi Vendor Environment Customer Focused, Mindset for Customer Experience Excellent Communication Skills - translating between technical and business world Leadership, Drive for Results PMP preferred, IT Infrastructure and Network Experience, ITIL experience preferredSoft Skills: Attention to Detail, Communication, Problem Solving, Project Planning & Execution, CollaborationBenefits: Solving IT is pleased to offer a rich benefit plan to our W2 employees.
