Title: Project Manager Location: Remote Duration: 10Months Upgrading SAGE ERP Need someone who can lead, run, organize, and plan the project without their hand needing held Someone who has been around projects and can be productive, being independent Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets & schedules, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. The Project Manager plans, establishes, and manages projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. Duties/Responsibilities :
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage project risks and issues
- Establishes and implements project communication plans
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent project management experience
- 5+ years of project management or related experience
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
- Ability to motivate diverse groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner
