Project Manager Level 3
Duration: 12-Month, Contract Location: Blue Ash, OH 45242 (100% remote will be considered) Our large, Retail client, with over $150B in annual revenue, and operating, either directly or through its subsidiaries, 2,750 locations and maintains markets in 35 states. JOB DESCRIPTION Looking for candidates that are interested in a high-level management position. The Project Manager Level three is responsible for the execution of major programs across the company, including, but not limited to the program communication, scope, schedule, and budget. This manager should be able to provide leadership in vendor management and large-scale infrastructure projects. As a leader in the company, this candidate is also expected to demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES- Managing the end-to-end program delivery and serving as the communication link between the product execution teams and the business owner of the program
- Leading and directing multiple projects, programs and initiatives of all size and complexity levels
- Collaborating across cross-functional teams (including direct and matrixed) project timelines for build, and manage towards delivery, lead teams without supervision
- Overseeing all aspects of assigned projects/program, and in some cases, interim operations which are directed toward a common objective
- Establishing and maintaining project budgets
- Setting target deadlines as well as clear predictabilities, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress of projects/entire program
- Taking projects/programs from original concepts through final implementations
- Establishing and managing interfaces with all areas impacted by the effort including end users, external dependencies, and 3rd party partners and vendors
- Identifying appropriate resources needed to assign individual responsibilities
- Developing schedule to ensure timely completion of delivery
- Ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and security standards
- Overseeing stakeholder management
- Leading and directing the work of others assigned as resources to the project(s)/program
- Serving as a mentor to less experienced Program Managers within the reporting area
- Traveling to offsite locations as needed
- 6+ years of experience in leadership position delivering large and/or complex projects
- Proven problem solving and organizational skills
- Documented history of delivering objectives on time and within budget
- Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation
- Knowledge and practical experience of the Lean methodology, principles, and tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
- Advanced analytical, problem solving and expert communication skills
- Knowledge of advanced project management, basic program management, and basic portfolio concepts, practices, and procedures within reporting area
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Retail experience
