Project Manager Level 2
Duration: 12 Month, ContractLocation: Blue Ash, OH 45242 (100% remote candidates will be considered) JOB DESCRIPTION Our large retail client is looking for candidates that are interested in the management and the implementation of the Archibus Seating Software to our client's work environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the milestones, deliverables, and team to complete this effort. The Archibus Seating Software will allow business groups to easily plan, monitor, and update their employee groups in a hybrid environment and the tool will also allow for additional office consolidation and rental reduction. Since this is a more advanced Project Manager position, it is imperative that this candidate has leadership capabilities as well as advanced technical abilities. RESPONSIBILITIES- Assembling the project team
- Assigning individual responsibilities
- Identifying appropriate resources needed
- Developing schedules
- Establishing and updating project plans and budgets with actual and forecasts and, with assistance, managing deviations from plan and project parameters
- Conducting project meetings, project tracking and project analysis
- Ensuring that all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet customer needs
- Communicating timely project status to all stakeholders
- Managing project risks, developing mitigation plans, and escalating decisions about unresolved issues
- Building and maintaining master project schedules
- Serving as project liaison with the business unit, client interface for rollout coordination, task management, and as supplier interface for projects under direct control
- Executing Information Systems projects including testing, documentation, and supporting transition
- Tracking performance criteria for project success criteria
- Ample Project Management experience delivering large and/or complex projects
- Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions
- Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
- Problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization.
- Previous experience with monitoring project activities
- History with driving adherence to PMO quality standards
- Must have experience with the process of getting a project defined, through PLC process and approval gates.
- Documented Business Analysis experience
- Project Management experience leading new development (SDLC), packaged software implementation, and large system enhancement type projects.
- Adequate understanding of Agile practices and methodologies
- Prior experience leading a highly matrixed project team and vendors
- Solid knowledge and ability to apply the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions.
- Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions.
- Ability to occasionally travel for work
