Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a QA Testing Analyst: IV (Lead) based in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading the development of test strategies and plans for Data Warehouse projects, ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and executed. You will be working closely with various technology teams across the enterprise and will be expected to execute test cases while communicating status updates to project team members and key stakeholders.Responsibilities: Actively engage in the review of project requirements, data mappings, and technical design specifications. Develop and implement test strategies and plans for Data Warehouse projects, ensuring proper test coverage. Execute test cases using both manual and automated testing processes. Perform ETL validation according to data mapping, including data profiling, reconciliation of data, metadata validation, and initial and delta validation for different SCD types. Coordinate test execution with other application teams and UAT partners, ensuring seamless performance across all platforms. Execute database queries to support test execution in Azure DevOps. Analyze data, identify and troubleshoot data issues, and develop action plans to address data quality issues. Communicate testing statuses with project team members and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are kept informed of progress. Identify, document, and communicate testing defects to the project team. Collaborate with the project team on defect analysis and triage, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and addressing opportunities to define or enhance QA processes. Requirements Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and partners Proven ability in planning and executing processes, ensuring adherence to best practices Proficiency in reviewing and performing reconciliations to maintain quality assurance Strong capability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions Proficient in data analysis, migration, and warehousing, including AWS technologies Experience in creating and executing SQL queries Familiarity with Python, Tableau, and other relevant computer sciences Knowledge of principles related to defect management and validation plans Experience in financial services sector is desirable Ability to perform regression analysis for data validation Must have a thorough understanding of data warehousing principles.
