RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, seeks a Quadient GMC & OpenText Exstream (Dialogue) Engineer in Columbus, Ohio (OH). This is an opportunity to become a fulltime employee with client.
Summary:The Quadient GMC & OpenText Exstream Engineer will sserve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. They are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Responsibilities: Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems The Quadient GMC & OpenText Exstream Engineer creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture The Quadient GMC & OpenText Exstream Engineer contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectREQUIREMENTS: Formal training or certification(s) on software engineering concepts with 3+ years applied experience preferred in Java/JavaScript, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA and HTML Experience working on OpenText Exstream (Dialogue) Experience working on Quadient (GMC) suite of products Hands on experience in Micro Service Proficient in automation, continuous delivery methods, Applicant Resiliency, and Security Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Exposure to cloud technologiesThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
