job detailsAre you an experienced Quality Assurance Technician who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our clients products using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects. If you are looking to stand out in your field this may be the opportunity for you. You will be responsible for inspecting materials and products, for conformance to specifications and standards within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility.To learn more about this opportunity and for immediate consideration call our office at 740-335-0088!salary: $35,360 - $52,000 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 2:30 PM - 11 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesCommitment to company objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery and management accordingto the department business planSafety and security-observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materialsproperlyExamine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, burrs and pits.Write, review, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design andproduct evaluation.Rejects defective parts, and mark type of defect on part.Proper tagging of material and other products.Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams and confers with management or engineering staff todetermine quality and reliability standards.Attend shift meetings and others applicable to the position5S (Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) your work space and 5S duties asassignedPerform other tasks as assignedThe essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 30lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
