AS A FLOOR INSPECTOR, YOU WILL: Inspects machined components and product assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications. Perform Process Audits. Support production personnel in verification of non-conforming material, tag and quarantine suspect material, and communicate quality issues to quality supervisor. Performs laboratory procedures, measure process performance, records data, and prepare formal reports. Measure parts to drawing requirements. Clarify work instructions pertaining to inspection criteria. Verify gauges and set snap gauges as needed. Initiate NQP (Notice of Quality Problem) with respect to identified supplier caused quality issues. Support quality engineers as requested. Additional assignments are made as deemed necessary to support business requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: High School diploma or GED Good mechanical aptitude & math skills Proficient in reading variable gauges Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
