AS A FLOOR INSPECTOR, YOU WILL: Inspects machined components and product assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications. Perform Process Audits. Support production personnel in verification of non-conforming material, tag and quarantine suspect material, and communicate quality issues to quality supervisor. Performs laboratory procedures, measure process performance, records data, and prepare formal reports. Measure parts to drawing requirements. Clarify work instructions pertaining to inspection criteria. Verify gauges and set snap gauges as needed. Initiate NQP (Notice of Quality Problem) with respect to identified supplier caused quality issues. Support quality engineers as requested. Additional assignments are made as deemed necessary to support business requirements. About Our Location Since the invention of the modern pipe wrench in 1923, the 25-acre RIDGID world headquarters in Elyria, Ohio has been developing tools that help trades professionals tackle jobs faster, safer, and more accurately. Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space.
