Description Dayton area company is looking for a Recruiter to join their team. The Recruiter position is a key role within the Human Resources Department. This individual will be primarily responsible for the delivery and execution of hiring practices for the organization. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and overseeing the hiring process.Responsibilities:

Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.

Post job vacancies on appropriate job boards, networks, etc.

Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, networking events, job fairs, and other channels.

Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.

Conduct initial phone interviews to understand candidate suitability and interest.

Organize and facilitate in-person interviews with hiring managers.

Coordinate and administer appropriate assessments or tests.

Provide detailed evaluations and assessments of candidates.

Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.

Make job offers and negotiate employment terms with chosen candidates.

Maintain a consistent and transparent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.

Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position.

Develop a sustainable talent acquisition and hiring plans and strategies.

Keep proper records of all recruitment efforts, interviews, and recruitment process.

This is a contract role anticipated to last for several months and is working full-time hours.Requirements Requirements:

Proven experience as a Recruiter, either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter.

Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)

Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)

Excellent knowledge of recruitment and HR practices and legislation.

Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).

Proficient in using social media and other professional networks.
