Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Report Developer based in Ohio, within the insurance industry. As a Report Developer, you will be instrumental in updating our insurance estimator and ensuring data accuracy for our customers. Responsibilities: Execute updates on the 2021 insurance estimator using advanced Excel skills Develop and maintain reports using Excel VBA and VB Utilize Excel formulas for data manipulation and analysis Ensure the accuracy of data and reports by conducting thorough quality checks Respond to customer inquiries related to the insurance estimator Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on report data Maintain accurate customer records within the system Process customer applications efficiently and accurately Continually enhance your knowledge of our insurance products and services to provide accurate information to customers Collaborate with team members to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our processes. Requirements Proficiency in Excel VBA is required, including advanced scripting and automation capabilities. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas and data analysis tools. Experience in VB programming is essential for creating and modifying scripts and macros. Ability to develop, maintain, and optimize reports in a timely and accurate manner. Strong analytical skills to interpret and present data effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during report development. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in the insurance industry would be beneficial. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and report presentation. High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports. A commitment to ongoing detail oriented development and learning, particularly in relation to industry-specific reporting tools and methodologies.
