Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.Summary:Responsible for the execution and operation of components that make up the IS Security Program. Ensures that security policies, standards and procedures are followed. Maintains operational responsibility for deployed security products (including, but not limited to: SIEM, DLP, Data Management, Vulnerability, Security Testing, IAM, firewall, web content filter, cloud, deception, threat intel, AV/AM, IDS/IPS SIEM, DLP, Data Management, Vulnerability, Security Testing, IAM, firewall, web content filter, cloud, deception, threat intel, AV/AM, and IDS/IPS). Provides content for security awareness program. Participates in risk management and security incident evaluation and investigation using deployed security products. Knowledgeable in at least one MHS technology or application area. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth SystemQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
3 years Information Systems experience in at least one technology area (Access Management, Network, Device, Data, or Application).
Basic understanding of healthcare specific security and privacy (HIPAA).
Excellent communication skills.
Security Certification (Security+ or other equivalent) or obtains within 12 months of hire.Preferred:
IS security experience.Physical Demands:
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
