Security Guard - Days - Located on Bus Line

Position Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining a secure environment to all employees and residents. Must have weekend availability. This position reports to the Associate Executive Director.Essential Functions: Familiar with all emergency and safety equipment including security cameras, phones, and life safety systems. Secure all areas of the building, check for open doors and any unusual activity. Conduct regularly scheduled rounds in and around the building. Respond to emergencies according to Senior Lifestyle policies. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Use proper telephone techniques as required. Assist receptionist during emergencies. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Perform other duties as assigned.
