Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Buyer based in Cincinnati Ohio. This role is crucial to our operations and requires someone skilled in procurement, supply chain logistics, and vendor relationship management. The individual will be responsible for developing purchasing initiatives, negotiating prices, and managing suppliers. Responsibilities: Formulating and executing purchasing and supply chain schemes that align with business goals. Discussing prices with suppliers to fulfill or surpass company expectations. Establishing connections with new suppliers to accommodate the strategic, financial, and quality requirements. Pushing outcomes with the formulation, tracking, and announcement of primary performance markers. Sustaining robust supplier associations through effective communication, equitable negotiations, and ethical manners. Working together with the team to aid engineering alterations, product line extension orders, or initiation of new products. Procuring essential raw materials, apparatus, provisions, and services to satisfy service level aims and delivery prerequisites. Supervising cost reductions and achieving yearly direct, indirect, and cost avoidance goals. Evaluating current procedures and proposing progressions for efficiency and LEAN transformations. Complying with organizational policies and procedures, including ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100 certifications.Requirements At least 7 years of experience in a comparable role required. Skillful management of Raw Material Inventory is necessary. Broad understanding and experience dealing with Raw Materials. Proven capabilities in Procurement and Purchase Procurement. Proficiency in Global Supply Chain administration is needed. Prior expertise in Supply Chain Logistics and Supply Chain Risk Management. The ability to conceive and execute Supply Chain Strategy. Established accomplishment in Vendor Relations and Sourcing. Experience managing Vendor Relationships is a must. Knowledge of Machining processes is necessary. Fluency in Microsoft Excel is required. Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and analysis. Excellent supervisory and multitasking skills.
