Leads and manages enterprise-wide Transportation, Fleet and Parking Services. Leads the quality of the patient/visitor experience and for employees within functional areas. Creates and operationalizes measures of success and uses data driven metrics to make effective decisions that continuously improves service, operates efficiently and ensures effective stewardship of resources. Serves as enterprise subject matter expert for parking, transportation and fleet services to develop and implement: parking and valet programs that support new and existing facilities. Leads daily operations and special events. Leads effective and efficient acquisition, mission specific construction, maintenance and operation of CCHS fleet vehicles. Leads mid- and long-range plans to ensure transportation, fleet and parking support of Cleveland Clinic growth and initiatives. Leads recruiting, retention, training, employee morale/engagement, and conformance with all government regulations. Develops and executes annual operating budgets for related areas.Responsibilities:Aligns and sets strategic direction, directs and executes key strategic priorities, promotes a metric driven environment and partners with the leaders of health system operations.

Leads or sets the conditions for success of process improvement efforts and supports parking, transportation and fleet process and procedures across the enterprise.

Leads projects associated with strategic initiatives.

Determines work priorities of staff; researches, develops, prepares and delivers presentations to various audiences.

Leads enterprise and departments of assigned areas.

Provides direction in support of Protective Services Department, Operations and Health System initiatives.

Provides leadership and direction in the development of assigned area improvement efforts.

Collaborates effectively with Operations leadership and other organizational entities to ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Advises senior operating executives across the enterprise on relevant organizational issues.

Develops and executes operating and capital budgets to support enterprise-wide operations, programs and initiatives.

Integrates technology and synchronizes current and planned operations.

Leads administrative direction and operational control of enterprise-wide Transportation, Fleet and Parking Services to include goal alignment, metrics, benchmarking, reports, best practices, process improvement, project management, performance management, long-range planning, and information management.

Education:Bachelor degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Requires knowledge of parking supply and demand principles, technology and data-supported decision-making.

Requires knowledge of Fleet Management software applications and reports.

Requires knowledge of negotiating vehicle acquisition and maintenance agreements.

Requires knowledge of route development techniques, scheduling and transportation technologies (wayside signs, automated passenger counting, automated vehicle locater, et.al.).

Knowledge of business management and budgets sufficient to develop and accurately project operating, staffing and equipment costs.

Certifications:Valid Ohio Driver's License (VDL) to meet Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.

Complexity of Work:Requires demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem solving skills.

Strong presentation, communication and training skills required.

Work Experience:Minimum of ten years of experience managing/supervising transportation, fleet, parking and/or logistics functions and staff performance in a service environment with a focus on customer service, quality, metrics, inventory management, policy development and applicable technologies.

Preferred experience includes: direct experience with vehicle acquisition, maintenance management, design and operation of large scale urban parking programs/projects.

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex functions at multiple sites; requires exceptional administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work independently in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

High degree of interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence desired in order to effectively interact with personnel and officials at all levels within and outside the organization.

Ability to delegate and supervise effectively; set and adjust long and short term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and management skills required.

Physical Requirements:Availability and willingness to work off hours on occasion to supervise rollout of new services and to demonstrate leadership to employees working other than day shift.

Personal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
