-Client was acquired last year and is re-branding their customer portal and adding some enhancements. Application is a Java web-based application and needs some front end branding updated, but the role will mostly be focused on the backend Java and underlying services. This will mostly be a stand-alone resource that will work with the Team Lead, as well as the infrastructure team for things like authentication / authorization. This is currently done using On-prem AD and will be moved in the future to Azure AD, so knowledge of authentication in a Java / Microsoft environment is preferred, although there will be an infrastructure group that will handle the backend piece.-Client does have some SQL data sources currently embedded in the data objects, and would like those moved to parameterized stored procedures in SQL Server.Must:-Strong / Senior Java Developer, capable of working independently-SQL Server experience-Authenticating Java applications in Windows/Azure AD environment-middleware (Webphere preferred)-RAD-Apache- ID: #48917047
