We rely on talented colleagues in a wide variety of professional roles including information technology, financial analysis, audit, provider relations and more.The Mailroom Clerk executes Mount Carmel Health System's document control processes in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the MCHS established guidelines and procedures.Responsibilities
Opens, sorts and delivers incoming correspondence to appropriate internal departments or mail boxes within established service timeframes.
Retrieves and distributes requested records as needed
Assembles and prepares for mailing any applicable correspondence generated
Maintain data entry of information into the record system to locate all personnel and departments located within MCHS.
Provides additional clerical/material support as needed.
Maintains and records incoming and outgoing certified mail log.
Provides additional support acting in the capacity of receptionist for the building guests and staff.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Familiarity with office procedures, word processing and spreadsheet software
Effective Communication Skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production and quality standards as needed
