The Senior Manager of Marketing Communications will lead the development and implementation of marketing communication strategies, supporting all Associated Materials product lines, customer segments and distribution channels.The Senior Manager will partner with the head of Marketing, product management, sales, and other functional teams to create and execute external communication plans, enhance the awareness of AM’s product brands, support innovation and launches of new products and distribution locations, establish a unique and differentiated digital presence, and help drive continued demand and growth of Alside, Gentek, Preservation and Alpine.The Senior Manager of Marketing Communications will be based out of AM’s corporate headquarters, located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and will report to the Director of Marketing.

 STRATEGIC INITIATIVESDevelop and execute annual marketing communications plan with a focus on product demand and innovation through paid, earned and owned media, including print and online advertising, media relations, literature development, website/digital content, and social media.Lead overall marketing efforts to increase brand awareness by leveraging brand guidelines and ensuring the brand identity is used consistently across all channels, markets, and media.Develop value proposition and key messages for various trade audience groups.Manage creative and media vendor relationships; negotiate media buys and agency contracts.Track and review effectiveness of communication efforts, then refine the plans and delivery as needed to drive demand.EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONSOwner of all external communications, ensuring quality content creation, editing, execution and implementation.  Oversee aspects of production (i.e., concept, content execution, budgeting) of all AM’s print and digital content, including video, social, and brand and product collateral.Support head of Marketing by acting as an additional liaison with media, producing and distributing information, pitching stories, etc.Oversee and manage comprehensive, multi-channel customer campaigns related to product demand, distribution capabilities, company innovation, brand awareness and general engagement with the business.WEBSITE AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONSProvide leadership and planning for all areas of digital communication, including but not limited to website strategy and content management, strategic email communications, and social media.Work with digital marketing manager, AM IT team and other internal stakeholders, and external vendors to identify and implement website improvement and updates to improve the user experience and increase engagement.Create and deploy a Content Marketing Strategy that defines the audiences to be reached by digital and social media, the expected outcomes, and how success is measured.Work with content marketing manager to develop and execute an efficient and effective process to create and post relevant and timely content to digital and social media channels on a regular basis, using available online tools to manage time and efficiency.Develop and coordinate the production of multimedia content (YouTube videos, photography, videography, etc.) to support new product launches, sales and promotional efforts, and more.TEAM LEADERSHIPLead and manage team of digital and content marketing managers; provide coaching to help develop team members and support them to achieve their goals.Identify areas for skill development through continuing education.KEY RELATIONSHIPSSales and sales leadership teams, building strong collaboration to support sales teams and deliver resultsProduct management teams: working together to drive continuous innovation and new product introductionMarketing and PR agencies to ensure development and deployment of content that meets timelines, budgets, and quality expectationsExternal and professional association colleagues, leveraging knowledge share and best practicesAdditional InformationAssociated Materials is a recognized leader in the home improvement industry and is uniquely positioned with a strong vertical integration of manufacturing, distribution and installation network of authorized installers.LI-KS1
