Senior Programmer

with a Secret clearance at it's Columbus, OH location.

This postion is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Provide network architectural design, engineering, implementation, sustainment, migration, technical refresh, and lifecycle services for the DISA Datacenter and Cloud enterprise network infrastructure. Network services and products supported shall include, but are not limited to, routers, switches, firewalls, web application firewalls, DNS, email gateways, proxy services, VPN, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and protocols, cryptographic devices, associated device software and firmware, diagnostic tools, and automation systems.
  • Support all current and future DISA Data Center enterprise network infrastructure architectures in accordance with DISA and industry standards and best practice
  • Engineer and implement network architectural changes in response to future network technology enhancements, DISA customer requirements, security requirements and enhancements, technical refresh efforts, lifecycle requirements, or changes in network capacity requirements.
  • Ensure all network hardware and OE assets are properly accounted for and maintained in DISA Ecosystem tools and data- bases
  • Ensure all software and firmware on network hard- ware and OE's are maintained and up to date on vendor supportable code versions
  • Provide design, engineering, implementation, migration and sustainment support for migrating and sustaining applications aligned behind the WAF
  • Provide support to the DISA Ecosystem engineering peers and other DISA counterparts on policies, procedures, and operational concerns regarding WAF configurations and supported applications as well as future migrations for new and existing Business

Qualifications

Clearance Required: Must have an active Secret or higher clearance

Baseline Certification

: Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements.

Education/

Years of Experience:
  • Must have 8+ years of experience with various programming languages to include but not limited to Phython, PHP, Perl, SQL, bash, expect, tcl, javascript, html, xml, Visual Basics for Applications (VBA) and variations of xml for REST/SOAP APIs. Familiarity with network infrastructure environment and network devices.
  • Must have an Bachelor's degree in a related field or have and maintain a Vendor Network Certification (Professional or Higher)
