Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

Including, but not limited to the following:

• Write code for a product spending 80-90% time in hands on development
• Contribute to the current and future state of the product architecture
• Mentor and coach new team members as our department continues to grow
• Collaborate with other scrum development teams and others across the company to ensure standards are followed
• Take initiative on solving technical and organizational problems as they arise
• Prioritize quality initiatives and factors in your own code and through the pull request process for your team and other team’s members

Qualifications

• 5+years of experience in commercial SaaS software development required
• Experience designing, building, and testing commercial business applications
• Experience in C#, .NET Core
• Node.js a bonus
• Experience with React or Angular preferred
• Professional full stack development experience
• Proven experience with modern application architecture principles
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships to solve challenges
• Experience leading and mentoring others on a development team as well as a commitment to fostering a learning environment
• Experience in API design and development
• Experience with automated testing, building and other tenets of Agile Development
• Fluent in modern design patterns and ability to establish them
• Familiar with virtualization/container technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience developing in multiple technologies on multiple platforms
