Job Number: 784 Riverside Research has an opportunity with enormous growth and staying potential for a Systems Engineer supporting the investigation of various advanced threat flight weapons systems through modeling and simulation. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with national experts both locally and across the community addressing many of the current and emerging advanced weapon systems posing a threat to national security including but limited to hypersonics glide vehicles and scramjets. The more skills the Systems Engineer can bring the better but CAD expertise in support of modeling and simulation is particularly required. Analysis will be enabled by familiarity with one or more of the various phenomenology including (Electo-optical (EO), Infrared (IR), Multispectral (MSI), Hyperspectral (HSI), Radar, Radio Frequency, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal). All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.Required Qualifications:- TS/SCI clearance, with ability to complete CI polygraph
- Proficient in one or more software tools such as C/C, MATLAB, python and Git
- Proficient in one or more relevant phenomenologies, (Electo-optical (EO), Infrared (IR), Multispectral (MSI), Hyperspectral (HSI), Radar, Radio Frequency, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal).
- Proficient in one or more CAD modeling packages
- 9 years of experience and a MA/MS or 19 years relevant work experience
- Experience with: Cart3D, US3D, Kestrel, OSC, Aria#D, CBAERO
