Job#: 1298237 Job Description: Title: Senior User Experience DesignerLocation: Remote Length: 6+ month contractApex Systems, the nation's largest publicly traded IT Staffing & Services Company, is supporting our fortune 500 client in the Cleveland area on a User Experience Designer contract role with potential to hire.The User Experience Designer will assist in a large project to redesign applications. This person will be working alongside UX designers and researchers in an agile environment. Requirements:- 5+ years of UX and IT experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing usable interfaces for the web using a variety of methods (i.e., wireframes, mockups, prototypes).
- Experience conducting usability research.
- Experience working with Figma
- Experience working with component libraries
- Understanding of responsive web design concepts and mobile applications.
- Portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience building wire frames, developing prototypes, and performing UX research. Please indicate your specific roles and contributions for each project submitted as part of the portfolio.
- Understanding of standard expected interfaces and basic user behaviors.
- Hands-on experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
- Familiarity with user-centered design approach and methodology.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
