Job Description
- You will be leading our subcontractors, working directly with the customer/customer representatives and our internal commissioning team.
- The Site Installation Project Manager should have previous experience in managing projects and be knowledgeable of electrical equipment and its installation.

- Be involved in all project aspects from contract award through project completion including but not limited to client meetings, internal meetings, and site presence during the life of the project.
- Familiarity with developing a project commissioning plan along with respective responsibilities
- Execute and supervise site work according to the commissioning plan and guidelines
- Interact with clients and other trades to negotiate commissioning plan to meet overall schedule
- Ability to prioritize and organize project tasks
- Ability to review, generate and provide daily and weekly reports in a timely fashion effectively communicating on-site activities
- Ability to interact with the client and all others on site to address questions, comments, and concerns through effective, responsive, and respectful communication
- High level of technical experience in installation and commissioning of MV gear, XFMRs, overhead and below grade distribution
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
- Low level/familiarity of technical experience in civil and mechanical activities (supporting electrical work)
- Ability to identify out of scope items and create estimates for completion.
- Knowledgeable of claims processing and change order identification and management
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all on-site and off-site constructions to monitor compliance with project scope of supply
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Manage daily on-site operations such as headcount, check-ins of employees to ensure staff s availability during working hours.
- Coordinate with supervisors and management to plan activities for higher productivity onsite
- Develop and maintain relationship with management and supervisors to resolve employee issues, concerns, and grievances as per existing company policy.
- Manage and develop employee and contractor resources by evaluating performance, coaching, motivation, and encouragement.
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Provide high level customer service and ensure compliance to all company s rules and regulations.
- Keep abreast in planning strategies to achieve project completion with available resources.
- Manage and update records and reports across different strata of the project.
- Assess and delegate resolution of issues.
- Contribute to the design, constructions, proposals during management meetings.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends, as needed)
- Good written and verbal communication with construction personnel, engineers, and managers
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 6+ years of Site Management or Project Management experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-contractors, field services, engineering, operations, and logistics
- A commitment to develop, drive, and manage projects in a highly competitive environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external Customers
