Description We are searching for a dedicated Social Media Specialist to join our team in the retail clothing and accessories industry based in Columbus, Ohio. This role entails utilizing various social media platforms to create and maintain the company's brand. You will be responsible for developing social media campaigns, keeping up-to-date with changes in all social platforms, ensuring they are executed in ways that serve our brand.Junior level role paying a Max of $21/hr Responsibilities: Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily across various social platforms. Monitor social media channels for industry trends and keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies. Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network. Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance. Prepare regular reports on social media marketing efforts. Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.Requirements Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the retail or fashion industry. Proficient in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google+. Solid experience in using social media analytical tools such as Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite. Proven track record in creating and implementing successful social media campaigns. Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, and best practices in the channels of search, social, and blogging. Experience in creating advertisements for social media platforms. Familiarity with web design and publishing. Strong analytical skills to measure the success of social media campaigns and advertisements. Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness through social media. Proven experience in campaign planning and execution. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
