Software Developer

Description We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team based in CINCINNATI, Ohio. The role will involve the development of cost-effective software solutions in line with client requirements. The successful candidate will be required to design, test, debug, and document complex software applications. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.This is a Hybrid remote opportunity (one day in office) Responsibilities: Develop efficient, modular, and well-documented software code. Collaborate with team members in defining and implementing software requirements. Design, test, debug, and document complex software applications. Monitor project schedules and costs. Report on software development status and demonstrate software to customers. Use C and Java for software development. Apply Object-Oriented development concepts in daily tasks. Assist with the full software development life cycle. Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained. Resolve customer inquiries and take appropriate action ApplicationRequirements Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role for a minimum of 3 years Proficiency in fundamental front-end languages such as C and Java preferred Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and various design and architectural patterns Knowledge of coding languages and libraries/frameworks Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment Ability to document requirements and specifications Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
