- Provide hands on architecture, design and build of automation tools that automate future infrastructure and applications for both on-premises and external cloud solutions.
- Work to automate engineering, security, and technology related to the current and future technical infrastructure products within the portfolio.
- Drive the development of automation solutions, with reusable components, that can be leveraged in different ways to meet globally diverse business requirements from a broad stakeholder community.
- Evolve current legacy service and solution offerings into next generation capabilities aligned to new and emerging business needs and security requirements, such as on-premises and off-site cloud capability, automation, and DoD security requirements.
- Research and evaluate of emerging automation technology, as well as industry and market trends to assist in automation development, solution implementation and/or operational support activities across multiple teams and scenarios.
- Document automated products to show standardization, quantify results, and an increase in efficiency, using a data-driven approach to support conclusions.
- Work in partnership with your peers and colleagues to ensure and implement an automated cohesive wing-to-wing full technology stack.
- Support the development of workload management and job scheduling tools aligned to and integrated with technical focus areas such as: containerization, cloud services, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data services.
- Balance cost, quality, performance, capability, and productivity variables effectively.
- A minimum of 4 years designing, developing, building, migrating, and implementing automation, cloud, or applications for on premise and off premise deployment
- Experience with automating compute, storage and visualization solutions and workflows in Microsoft’s Azure cloud framework.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining creative solutions to complex software, infrastructure, and application problems.
- Experience with new and emerging automation technologies such as Microsoft DevOps, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, SWARM, etc.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure security strategies and technologies.
- Advanced analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly and effectively within and across teams.
- Familiarity with United States Government regulatory controls and frameworks (NIST, DFARS, CMMC, etc.)
