Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in the Defense Service industry, based in NORTON, Ohio. The role will primarily involve working with Common Tools used in our applications, with a significant focus on UI development. Responsibilities: Contributing to the design and development of Android applications using Java & Kotlin. Designing and implementing application layouts via XML. Developing iOS applications using Swift and transitioning to SwiftUI. Working with UIKit/Storyboards as our previous standard. Utilizing BLE knowledge where applicable. Overseeing the application process from concept design to publication and support on the app store. Maintaining a keen understanding of both Android and iOS platforms. Adapting to hybrid work environments, with one day on-site. Utilizing skills in cloud native development to optimize software solutions. Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and efficient customer credit records.Requirements Proficient in Android Development including knowledge of Android, Android Devices, Android Mobile, Android iOS, and Android OS. Skilled in Apple iOS, iOS, iOS Apps, iOS Mobile development. Experience in designing and implementing applications using UIKit. Proficient in programming languages such as Swift, Java, and Kotlin. Familiarity with Cloud native development. Ability to work in a defense services industry environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
