- Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure high levels of systems availability, security, and performance; install, maintain, and monitor enterprise systems, and their corresponding integration components
- Manage and maintain application availability, information flow, problem escalation and resolution, and access control and auditing
- Create and maintain systems design and documentation; evaluate and establish best-in-class design, policies, processes, and procedures
- Provide education and knowledge management for business applications
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and pairing with mid to junior level engineers in a Agile environment, around a hybrid cloud architecture in a self-managed, high-velocity team
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level hardware and software systems, including on premise and cloud-based systems with familiarity with cloud architecture and security best practices
- Evaluate and recommend improvements, enhancements, and changes to software, database environments, and infrastructure; research and recommend innovative and automated improvements for system administration tasks by identifying capacity requirements, productivity enhancements and future needs for business applications.
- Establish relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance and expand the functionality of individual productivity applications; facilitate change management plans to communicate updates, maintenance schedules, risks, or other key updates between customers, employees, and vendors
- Demonstrate proficiencies in at least one common scripting language
- Show capability in areas of software defined networking, security operations, and infrastructure as code
- Perform related work as required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with server-based software, performing systems management, custom solution development and customer support, or equivalent education and years of experience
- Experience with Active Directory, Dynamics NAV (ERP), SharePoint, Office 365 with AZURE, Intune and Teams, PCM, ERSI GIS, AMAG, CCTV, and/or ATS
- Storage Area Networks (NetApp preferable ), Windows Server (all versions), SQL Server Administration, and VMware (VDI, Data Center, NSX)
- Knowledge of common IAM, Workday ERP, Microsoft business platforms, Azure and AWS managed services, virtualization, and enterprise cloud on-prem/cloud backup systems such as Cohesity.
- Knowledge of open stack technologies and deployment pipelines
- Demonstrated process improvement experience is a plus
