Pay Range: $13 - $15/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general department/division and organizational practices and procedures.
  • Utilizes personal computer, calculator, typewriter and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, retrieving and presenting information.
  • Maintains records and checks data for control purposes.
  • Compiles and distributes standard reports which may be technical in nature from a variety of sources within and outside of department.
  • Assists in answering telephones; takes messages and/or redirects calls; responds to routine questions; explains routine policies and procedures as necessary.
  • May serve as PROFS Local Assistant or Lotus Notes support: trains new employees, maintains processes IDs, serves as first contact for problems, registers employees for classes, etc.
  • May assist in meeting room set up as requested by customers in locations where this service is requested.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • High school studies; technical school studies in personal computing and software usage.
  • Two years in general office environment that includes writing, proofing, and use of basic mathematics. Prefer one year of personal computing and experience in a related function area.
  • General office practices and procedures, basic mathematics, familiarity with office filing systems and record keeping procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Operate personal computer and related software.
  • Basic keyboarding skills. Oral and written communication skills used for interaction with all levels of employees and/or external sources.
  • Perform basic math and operate calculator.
  • Ability to set work priorities and recommend solution to general work-related issues.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and create/maintain filing systems.
