Specialist PPE Testing Laboratory Technician

ICS Laboratories is currently looking to fill a position for a Laboratory Technician within our Eye and Face Protection Testing Laboratory. A qualified candidate will assist and perform a wide range of optical and mechanical tests on safety eyewear.

Responsibilities will include conducting tests, operating a wide range of equipment/instruments, maintaining records of work performed, processing and verifying data, following written procedures and instructions, summarizing and reporting results.

Basic Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Two Year College Degree or applicable Technical Training (preferred)

Basic understanding of algebra & physics

A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word and the ability to learn other user-friendly programs

Reliable and willing to learn

Able to wear respirator (clean shaven or willing to shave as necessary if male)

Organized and accurate recordkeeping practices

Must generally have a high attention to detail
