POSITION SUMMARY:Senior engineer responsible for implementing, developing and operating the Unified Communications solutionsglobally. Will ensure the proper delivery of capabilities and additionally assist the support teams by managingtroubleshooting escalations in person. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be an expert in one or more the following areas: telephony, contact center, videoconference, telecomservices Plans, designs and architects voice systems and solutions Maintains knowledge of assets (hardware, software and telecom technology) and works on theimplementation of modifications and evolutions as required Creates and maintains documentation for telecom services Creates all required technical documentation in accordance with company change control and projectmanagement processes and procedures Works with internal business partners to collect their demand and plan solution Provides after hours on-call support in case of issues escalations Project management, cost/spend management, reporting QUALIFICATIONS One or more of the following: Voice and VoIP: Hands-on experience with voice and data products including Cisco UnifiedCommunications Manager / Call Manager (v10.5 and greater), Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco UnifiedBorder Elements (CUBEs), Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) functionality, VCS, TMS, VoIPtroubleshooting tools, Cisco Routers and Cisco Switches. Good understanding of routing features andcommunications protocols, such as H323 / SIP / MGoogle Cloud Platform/G.711 / G.729, SRST, private line services (E1/T1)and SIP Trunk. Contact Center: Hands-on experience with Contact Center products, ideally with either or both theGenesys Cloud platform and the Genesys PureConnect Cloud platform (ININ). In-depth knowledge oftopics such as IVR, ACD, call flows, call routing, inbound and outbound call center features, call centerclients and application integrations Microsoft Teams: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams and the real-time communication aspects.Familiar with the administration and troubleshooting of Teams enabled communication. Can work on thedeployment of Microsoft Teams Room systems for videoconference.
