M&M provides a wide range of analysis and sampling solutions to end vertical markets of Minerals, Coal, Cement and Nuclear as well as the horizontal market of Bulk Material and Product Inspection applications.This opportunity is located at one of our Oakwood Village, OH facility, within the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).Job Location: 1 Thermo Fisher Way Oakwood Village , OH , 44146 -6536Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) FlexibleDiscover Impactful Work:Support the North American Customer Service Team with all work related to order processing of Spare Parts, Service and System orders. Ensure exceptional service is always delivered to our customers through the provision of accurate and efficient order transactions.A day in the Life:

Provide accurate and timely customer service to our customers through.

Ensuring parts are accurately identified before quoting, seeking assistance from technical support staff and others to interpret parts;

Written quotations provided in agreed format and timeframe, including price and lead time, delivery and payment terms;

Adherence to export guidelines for international orders, liaising with export and logistics staff where required to meet these guidelines;

Follow up of open quotes to enhance conversion to orders;

Order confirmations provided in a timely manner upon receipt of customers’ purchase order;

Maintenance of detailed records of all spare parts transactions in a central location;

Respond to customer queries in a timely manner.

Build strong relationship with the customers and channel partners, ensuing strong CAS results by regularly making follow-up calls to customers at the completion of each transaction.

Ensure non-standard matters (e.g. commercial terms/letters of credit, shipments to new international regions) are called out in a timely manner to the most appropriate person.

Keys to Success:Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

3 years of experience in international business, purchasing, or in Supply Chain/Logistics/Client service/Customer care environment preferred.

Excellent and effective communication skills both phone and email; professional manner with attention to detail.

Competent Microsoft Office user.

Salesforce experience

Compliance Portal experience like: ISN, Avetta, Cognibox, Veriforce, etc

Good problem-solving skill and result oriented demeanor.

Display attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace.

Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrable understanding of the fundamentals of customer satisfaction.

Have the ability to identify and solve problems and to multi-task under deadlines.

Possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and perform as a team

Demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers.
