Description Our Client is seeking an experienced, organized Senior Financial Analyst to join their efforts on a short-term contract / temporary basis. The Senior Financial Analyst consultant is in charge of project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial issues. You will also implement analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements and also offer decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be located in Hudson, Ohio.Your responsibilities

Execute monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management by analyzing financial results, synthesizing/distilling key trends, assessing future and current business risks, and articulating critical updates

Manage positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership

Power existing management reporting by evaluating financial results, distilling and synthesizing issues, and articulating key updates to senior-level staff

Team closely with Functional leads by executing management reporting, advising in accounting and compliance, and ensuring operational initiatives are in alignment with each other

Track financial results with greater accuracy and discretion by working with Operating and Accounting to drive improved management reporting

Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis

Execute assistance in all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teamsOur client

Requirements - Proven knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

A strong ability to work with office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended

Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers

Track-record in process reengineering and optimization

Expertise in Data Analysis

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Deep understanding of financial analysis

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management

CPA/MBA preferred

Necessary education includes a BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
