Description We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team based in PARMA, Ohio, United States. The role involves providing financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and supporting all aspects of planning, analysis, and reporting within the service industry. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and maintain decision support tools, serve as a liaison between Corporate Finance/Accounting and field Finance & Operational partners, and develop predictive models to support the company's growth strategy.Responsibilities: Improve financial models by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management Consolidate business unit projections, working with field finance partners to compile, update and report business division results Lead the monthly rolling forecast process, updating business unit models by adding historical data and working with the field finance partners to generate rolling forecasts Identify financial disposition of models by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts Serve as the finance partner to the Regional Vice Presidents, owning their respective budgets and providing financial management oversight Collaborate to develop and enforce policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, and recommending actions Forecast and report at the end of each month and assist with annual forecasting/budgeting Act as a liaison to State Fiscal Officer, ensuring timely delivery of budget and forecast submissions in coordination with individual School Board requirements Liaison to Corporate FP& A and Accounting, including the preparation of month-end close schedules in addition to monthly corporate reporting and analytics packages Maintain long-range planning and cash flow model Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and analyses. Requirements Applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Financial Analyst within the service industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is integral for the successful performance of job duties. Candidates should possess a strong analytical mindset and have proven experience in analyzing financial data to drive business strategies. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey financial concepts to non-finance personnel. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred but not mandatory. Advanced financial modeling skills are necessary for this role. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of GAAP. A track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines is critical. Experience in budgeting and forecasting is required. Applicants must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proven ability to make data-driven decisions is essential. Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience with financial systems and business process improvements is preferred.
