Job Description SummarySenior Program Manager to lead cross functional team execution to deliver on small engine and advanced turbomachinery product development. Incumbent will contribute to strategic business growth objectives, lead proposal preparation, and manage programs to meet program objectives. Incumbent will also construct and execute action plans to coordinate activities of support organizations to deliver business commitments including those of partner companies.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

Builds strong relationships of trust with customer base through transparent communication, delivery of promises, and responsiveness to requests.

Oversee company funded activity including financial metrics associated with Joint Development Agreement with partner companies.

Supports Hoshin Kanri and related action plans to develop low cost, small engine technology and strategy.

Creates and shapes opportunities for contracted technology research towards Edison Works strategic small engine and advanced technology propulsion capabilities.

Lead proposals to compete for and win external funding for small engines and advanced turbomachinery development for EMD and qualification.

Identify and champion improvements in how we operate productively including Implementing standard work through lean principles.

Requires strong military awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.

Requires experience with proposal development and program management.

Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Product Management )

Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management

Must be US Citizen

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
