Description Robert Half os working with a client that has experienced significant growth in the last 10 years resulting in the need to expand the responsibility of some positions into a higher skill set. We are looking to hire someone a Staff Accountant with accounting and computer skills. As a closely held family of companies this position will offer exposure to all aspects of running and operating small businesses. Great opportunity for someone to learn and grow. Other lateral movement also available based on candidate’s skills and background.Please reach out to Scott Dennis for immediate consideration513-835-2080Some job specific job duties would include:Bank reconciliationMonthly P and L statements for all entitiesLocal and state tax filings for all entities – quarterly and annuallyEmployee file maintenanceCorporate filings for entitiesDepreciation Schedule maintenanceBookkeeping/ data entryHelp prep payroll filesProcess payroll- run in houseBank transfers / wire transfer setupAccounts receivableChange order / Contract change reconciliationRequirements - Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Experience with ERP systems
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Bank reconciliations experience desired
Command of data entry
Deep understanding of Excel Formulas
Profit and loss experience
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Detailed and have the ability work independently
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
