Staff Accountant

Description Robert Half Talent Solutions has partnered with an area manufacturing organization as they look for an experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the full accounting cycle and play a key role in the overall success of the site accounting function as they:

Handle balance sheet reconciliations

Assist with month end close

Perform physical inventory counts

Support the Controller through the budget process

Prepare capital and fixed asset transactions

Perform ad hoc monthly analysis as requested by leadership

Support quarterly internal and annual external audit request

Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners

2+ years' experience with the full accounting cycle

Advanced Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, other advanced formulas)

Solid understanding of accrual accounting

A Bachelors in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required

Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
