Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Restaurants & Catering industry located in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be heavily involved in financial reporting, assisting in the preparation and distribution of financial statements, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial activities. Responsibilities: Collaborate with department heads to understand and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting activity. Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements. Maintain financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule. Handle customer credit applications, processing them accurately and efficiently. Maintain precise records of customer credit. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status. Managing activities related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger. Preparing journal entries and performing month-end close activities. Utilizing various software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for accounting purposes.
