Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.Summary:Responsible for managing the daily operations of the ambulatory site(s) monitoring and ensuring proper patient flow, and upholding standards and policy and procedures. Responsible for managing and/or recording daily financial activities impacting the budget. Accountable for coordination of daily staff activities and communications, in collaboration with Nursing Coordinator. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program. Develops standardized patient flows for each of the patient care areas within the ambulatory site to maximize access, improve efficiencies and enhance customer service. Accountable for the daily operations of pre and post registration activities, template management and revenue cycle; to include on going staff competencies and training. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.Qualifications:Required:

Associate degree in health-related field with three years related experience or five years of related experience in lieu of degree.

Thorough knowledge of registration and scheduling.

Strong quantitative skills, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and information systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

On-call, weekends, rotation, and travel to other sites, as well as after-hours support.

Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field.

Progressive leadership experience.

Knowledge of CPT4 and ICD10 coding is strongly preferred

Thorough understanding of Epic functionality.

Strong working knowledge of systems such as OnBase, Lawson, and Kronos
