Systems Administrator

Position Summary:Tyto Athene is looking for a

• Implement, maintain, and operate NASIC critical infrastructure such as Active Directory, Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol servers, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, VMware virtualization, and backups
• Maintain, secure, patch, and deploy software and operating systems
• Sustain Server, storage, network, and workstation infrastructure
• Provide documented Operational views of new installations and upgrades and comply with all governance requirements
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot scripts for automation of IT-related tasks

• Maintain, administer, update Windows operating systems, products, applications, and services
• Create, configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot virtual systems in VMware
• Provide production network integration between current and new services
• Maintain configuration management controls, to include security and lifecycle updates
• Create and maintain custom ad hoc scripting, utilize approved government code repository, and follow release management processes
• Conduct periodic log reviews for usability and troubleshooting
• Develop change plans for all information system modifications
• Perform file and email message remediation as necessitated by identified security incidents
• Support and troubleshoot scripts written in Microsoft PowerShell, Python, bash, and Perl for automation of IT-related tasks for all system designs
• Implement, configure, and maintain block, object, and file level storage
• Maintain and track user roles and accesses
• Support installation, administration, and updates of antivirus software, server, and signatures
• Maintain, administer, and update approved third party applications, to include Splunk, ePolicy Orchestrator, cross-domain solutions, and others
• Provide support for Dell EMC Unity and Juniper solutions
• Perform software loading and configuration controls

• Required Certification: Possess & maintain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M
• Desired certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
