Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County’s safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.Summary:Responsible for all facets of The MetroHealth System’s (MHS) full cycle recruiting process including screening applications and resumes, interviewing candidates, ensuring candidates receive appropriate assessments, and referring qualified candidates for positions throughout MHS. Ensures compliance with federal regulations and MHS programs, policies and union contracts. In collaboration with department leaders and hiring managers, plans for future staffing needs and builds a pipeline of talent for future organizational initiatives. Develops recruitment plans utilizing traditional and contemporary recruitment strategies; develops new and creative recruiting ideas. Ensures the best talent is hired for The MetroHealth System. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.Qualifications:Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.

Minimum two years of recruiting experience; preferably in a healthcare environment.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems .

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with candidates/customers at all levels.

Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of current federal/state employment regulations and laws.Preferred:

PHR/SPHR Certification.

Familiar with Joint Commission, CARF, and other health care related standards.Physical Requirements:

May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.

May need to sit or stand for extended periods.

See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.

May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.

Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.

Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
