Lead the validation of operational reviews through the NEAC versus TOR outage verification process. Ensure compliance with PRC-004 requirements by notifying stakeholders of discrepancies identified within the systems within 120 days.

Actively monitor station computers for stale, erroneous, or incomplete data to ensure compliance with PRC-002 requirements, notifying stakeholders of any issues that arise and ensuring they are addressed within a 90-day window.

Operational Excellence:

Continuously monitor critical asset health alarms and other alarms across the grid, notifying stakeholders of data-driven decisions and addressing issues remotely when possible.

Regularly assess the availability status of critical data infrastructure systems, including NEAC, RTAC, WaveWin, PMU, PQ, and others.

Customer Service:

Provide relevant data to stakeholders to support condition-based maintenance and capital replacement initiatives, leveraging Asset Performance Management software, Station PI, IPS, and other data repositories.

Summarize and report on the energization, condition, and health of critical assets to stakeholders.

Financial Strength:

Review substation assets within the 5-year warranty period and address issues with vendors remotely to ensure optimal and reliable asset performance. Utilize the APM application to monitor long-term health trends of these assets.

Environmental Respect:

Proactively lead data analysis related to the health and alarm monitoring of substation transformers and reactors to help prevent catastrophic failures.

Contribute to the ongoing daily support of the Monitoring Analysis Response Center to ensure effective operations.

This position will be onsite and a part of a rotating 12-hour shift 24/7.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist with providing input to annual budget, capital forecasts, five-year plan and improvement requisitions.

Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.

Participate in company and contractor meetings covering outage/project schedule, safety issues and operations and maintenance of equipment.

Assist in evaluating contracting methods, reviewing drawings and preparing basic cost estimates using established standards.

Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities.

Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.

Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.

Understand and monitor labor relation activities; develop and maintain rapport to assure cooperation and productive working relationships with contractors.

Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education : Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.Work Experience : Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Physical demand level is Sedentary Travel required. May have to work outside in all types of weather and exposure to hazards.INITIAL POSITION / BASE SALARY FUNDING: approximately ($62,000 - $90,000/year) spanning this salary grade/title range.
