Job#: 1335262 Job Description: Title: Senior Technical Project ManagerLength: Direct Hire/Full time Location: Akron, OH (Hybrid)Overview:The Sr. Applications Architect will lead all aspects of enterprise applications architecture and manages technical IT applications projects. Develops applications strategy and defines standards and best practices. This position will manage multiple IT application related projects simultaneously using various project management tools and techniques, including but not limited to work breakdown structures, project milestones, project timelines, risk assessment/management plans, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Azure DevOps. As a key team member and assistant to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this role serves as a liaison with the divisional Business Applications teams and other technical shared service.Day to Day:- Lead project portfolio management for applications projects, providing shared service support for divisional business applications projects. Coordinate with peers to track project timelines and budget, as well as provide project status updates.
- Work closely with divisional business analysts, application development team, and Application Directors to define and refine business requirements, project scopes, project backlogs, test plans, user training, and release plans for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Consult with divisional business applications teams to ensure that business requirements are thoroughly documented and accurately represent business-specific application needs.
- Function as a liaison between divisional business applications teams and application development resources (internal and external).
- Provide technical leadership to Enterprise Application team members (development, integration, e-Commerce, database, and information delivery/reporting).
- Design major aspects of the IT applications architecture, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure.
- Define uniform enterprise-wide systems development lifecycle (SDLC), software development framework, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the applications architecture is aligned with business requirements.
- Perform technical application testing, quality assurance, and design/code reviews; ensure that all changes to production environments adhere to change management policies including documentation of testing and proper approvals.
Tools/ Tech:- Azure DevOps, Visio, MS Project, MS Teams, Excel
Required Skill & Technologies:- 8 years exp in application role
- applications architect, systems analyst, applications developer, software engineer, or another technical applications role
- 5 years project management experience
Nice to Haves:- PMP Certification is a plus
- Experience Supervising and managing teams
